We're not on track to meet the net zero promises which have been made. Net zero two by 20 50 would require us two, more or less half emissions between 20 ten and 20 30. And right now, if we add up all commitments that countries have taken to reduce their omissions to 20 30, they're widely insufficient. Let's take one country as an example: south africa pledged to become net zero by 20 50. We cannot lose sight of the great that climate change poses to our environmental health, social economic development and economic growth.
