How Much Did You Know About the Book Before You Sat Down?
The book is written from the point of view of a woman who sits in an attic painting. "It was very difficult to write though, because this character,. abbey, is an artist, and she is quite agrophobic, and she doesn't go out very much" The author says he knew exactly what had happened to all of them when he sat down to write it.
