Fuchs's Journey to Los Alamos

Fuchs was originally not expected to go to Los Alamos. It was thought that he would start working on the British nuclear reactor program. But Piles had been across from New York and learnt of plutonium's potential. He insisted that Fuchs also be allowed to join the delegation in Los AlamOS. The decision for Fuchs to return to Britain was overruled, so he disappeared off the radar.
