Russia is also very big producer of oil, and which it does sell on global markets. Since the invasion started, russian oil s now trading in a big discount. People don't want to touch it because they're afraid of getting contaminated. This is both like a financial, legal thing and also a moral thing. And so the result is that a lot of this theoretical oil supply is just not available.
