The Importance of Relationship
In order for someone to feel guilt, they would have already had to constellate an ethical core that's internalized. So what I would say is probably not at least regarding that behavior. Some things are pretty culturally specific of what a shameful and one culture is not necessarily shameful in another. It's tremendously culturally bound as are laws that something is illegal in one country and not illegal in another. They're based on cultural norms. We hope that a child eventually will extrapolate from these cultural norms more of a mature ethical core about hurting people,. Let's say, hurting people's feelings or hurting people physically even that I can't do this.
