The People's Bank of China Cuts Its One-Year MLF Rate

Bloomberg Economics sees the People's Bank of China cutting its one-year MLF rate today. Official data on retail sales and industrial production for April are expected to show big gains. But they compared to a period last year when Shanghai and much of the country was under lockdown. Newcrest Mining is confirming a Bloomberg report earlier on Sunday that this merger is happening.
