The Importance of Sitting in Complexity

When you are exploring a topic, you don't cheat the process of fully facing the complexity of the issue you're addressing. Otherwise we cheat the audience by making it sound simplistic and then we can end with a big song. And that's very different than just coming up with a one-liner or an easy to preach message. So I just want to say to anybody who's in the communication business,Don't cheat the agonizing process of sitting in the complexity of whatever it is you want to talk about.
