The story of the buried treasure that in itself is part of the lesson. It took a long time, 54 years from the exodus, until you could finally settle down your home. One starts shrieking. Some one starts squealing in delight. You won't believe what i discovered. There is an entire treasure house of gold and jewels and diamonds there behind the stone, behind the wall, buried by its previous inhabitants. The disaster was transformed into a great blessing. That's the story the rashi tells us. Did this actually happen? The answer is, no, it didn't happen. Tammat says, never happen, never will happen. But this is the lesson when we fail
