The moon has a new double crater after a rocket body collided with its surface on March 4th. New images shared by NASA's lunar reconnaissance orbiter have revealed the location of an unusual crater. The impact created two craters that overlap on the on an Eastern crater, measuring 59 feet or 18 meters across and a Western crater, spanning 52 feet or 16 meters across. Together they created a depression that is roughly 91 feet, 28 meters wide at the longest dimension - which I will open a no image and send to you.
