If you really actually want to help, you're going to have to be good or get good at understanding how you can help. Digging deeper is usually better than casting a wider net. Not only does it show interest and allow you to follow that curiosity, but it helps you understand how you canhelp people much, much better too.

One of the best ways to gain momentum during your career search is to reach out to employees at the company you want to work for, specifically key decision-makers. This will allow you to stand out among the sea of 500-1,000+ applications. When you go to make these connections, there are some simple, yet overlooked, strategies that are very effective to not only receive a response when doing this deliberate networking, but all get a response that could propel you into the role you are aiming for. Brian is a podcast listener and client who reached out to me through email, and his email blew me away.
