Forrest Gump was the first film that made me cry. I remember listening to it right from being a tiny, tiny child with my mum in the car. And even when I go back to Newcastle and I'm with my family, we'll make sure we're in the car at the right time to hear it because it's just our thing. Tom Hanks talks about how he became an actor, the pressures of fame and that kind of thing. He also reflects on his childhood, and that is some of the most emotional content. His parents split up, and this is Tom recalling how he and his father moved around a lot.
