The Future of Christianity
Christianity as a global phenomenon is moving south of the equator, and in fact is already there. The world of the national Catholic reporter is simply not going to exist for the years soon now. I think it's entirely possible that the period between the Constantinian settlement and the mid 20th century say the Second Vatican Council's Declaration of Religious Freedom will be seen as a Babylonian captivity for the church.
