What i mean by identity is the subject of the experiences, the person who's feeling the pain. So i keep you in pain the whole time, that's your or transitioning. Transition, turning from mark into g Greta garb and all that qualiiative change doesn't matter, because you're still a numerically identical subject. Even if your molecule or cell by cell changing the brain, while somehow there's still some sort of numerical identity maintained.
