The Chorus of Supermassive Black Hole
There was the hum, but there was no Hellings in Downs curve or this additional spatial correlation term. We can't see those cross correlations manifesting in the way that we would expect for gravitational wave background. But we do hear the hum. So yeah, we can hear the chorus, but we don't know what the shape of the choir looks like. How does it get a very stretchy? Exactly. We've stretched it and squashed it.
