How to Prepare for an Extended Fast

You want to minimize your discomfort, especially if you're doing like a three day or longer fast. Don't make the rookie mistake that I did and have a big steak dinner because you will pay for it. And then we also want to make sure that your minerals are in check. So super important to avoid something called refeeding syndrome. If you've been fasting for four or five plus days, and then you reintroduce foods in that sort of four to seven day window post fast, can be catastrophic for you.
