The Implications of the Farm Bill Debate

Nearly half the members of the house have almost zero farm bill experience because they were not in office during the last debate five years ago. So what do you think that does that have a lot of implications for the upcoming debate? Well, it always does in the sense that a relatively small number of members of Congress, usually from big agricultural states have, they kind of control the process and then the rest of the members just kind of trust them to do it. Now this time because of the climate provisions, there are a lot of Republicans who have nothing to do with the farm bill like Matt Gates.
