The Affordable Car Act
There actually was a carvout in the affordable car act that left room for things like the omish community to have sort of principled, religious based objections to being part of traditional insurance. What you saw was a variety of organizations merging with these tiny omish and menanite institutions were really this was this meant to be a conciliation. It should have just been a tiny aspect of the law.
