Marley's Ghost Is Helping Scrooge Do That

Scrooge asks why ghosts come to him and is told that if a spirit goes not forth in life it's condemned to do so after death. Dickens says Marley did not live his life the way he was supposed to, which means Scrooge should too. And what happens is you can either live like that in your life and be a beacon and a light unto others or you will be doomed to die as a lesson for other people. If you feel like that then it's time to abort the trajectory. One is on and Marley's ghost is helping Scrooge do that and Dickens is helping us do that at the end of the year.
