It's a text game, like net hag or rogue. You just have a bunch of text characters running around the screen. Even with the lazy new pagget silk, it's sil quite tricky to get into. The whole thing about premature optimization doesn't mean much when you've been programming for 20 years. And then when you have a big simulation, you hae towory about optimization, not just at the end. There's a lot of little things to pick up.
