The Cecil Hotel Is a Place Where a Lot of Bad Things Have Happened

The Cecil Hotel has a very troubling history. It seems to be the, by some dark lottery of coincidence, it is a place where a lot of bad things have happened. Elizabeth Short, also known as the Black Dahlia, was supposedly staying at the Cecil before she was murdered in 1947. Goldie Osgood, known as the Pigeon Lady of Persians Square, was raped and murdered in her hotel room there in 64. And as we said, serial killers stayed there while they were active. One woman committed suicide by jumping out of a window off the ledge and then killed a completely innocent person who just happened to be walking by.
