I tried to buy Liverpool for a couple of years before we eventually did strike a deal in which was the summer of 2004. The deal was 70 million pounds for 51 percent so it valued the club at 140 million. But I said to me the club needs more cash and I can't afford any more than 70 million. So the deal was changed to 50 million to go into the club and so 20 million to the existing shareholders because the club needed the money. Needed the investment and anyway the existing shareholders refused to change the deal. Even though the due diligence gave us the reality something very different to what was presented when we effectively shook hands on it. At the time the turnover was just 100
