Patreon is a service that lets users pay to have their content removed from the internet. The site has been set up by Canonical, who are considering taking over its domain name and hosting it just for Ubuntu members. Alan says he'd probably use 16 gig of RAM, probably four cores on his Mastodon server. And be aware that it's going to eat a fair amount of bandwidth as well.
