The Importance of Drafting Early

If you're playing the longevity game, lamb makes all the sense in the world. You've got to figure that you're going to get great seasons out of him for at least five years. The flip side to that is what happens if you get lamb and then you find the next Austin Echler. I just hate these kinds of leagues where you keep these first round guys and then over and over again, they're not put back into the draft pool. It's not fun. Keeper should be about the later mid-round picks being kept, not taking every great player off the board before your draft.
