How Does Dennis's Idea of Capitalism Resolve Black Liberation Work?
There's a tacit claim within Dennis's idea that imperialist capitalism is resolving its problems on its own and is resolving black liberation. In this sense, there's a decision to abandon the need for revolution in favor of the idea that capitalist development is gradually fixing its own problems. The party abandons the need of being a vanguard on this issue and says let the forces of capitalism resolve it on its own. So Heywood criticizes Jackson and Wilkerson primarily for a belief in spontaneity which rejects the need for a Vanguard of black workers to leave the struggle.
