The Origins of Rap in Mexico

Alfredo Fédo was the first person in his family to go to college, and with a scholarship. He left his mom in Guigatlan and moved 400 kilometers north to Mexico City. As school took over his life, rap became just a hobby for him. In that concert he met members of a movement called rap orijinario or original rap. It's led by young Mexican musicians who are experimenting with rap in languages other than Spanish.
