England Squad Announcement

The squad announcement for England has been moved forward to Tuesday. By moving the selection forward, those players are directly in the firing line from tomorrow onwards. I can only share with you a similar or not identical, but a very similar situation pre-World Cup 2003 when we were supposed to go on the summer tour to Australia and New Zealand. There was an issue with the players touring fees for that particular tour and the insurance of the group at that time. The players weren't comfortable in touring whilst we didn't have insurance to play and the proposed fee for the tour. Ultimately, they came back with the insurance guarantee and a figure of money and off the top of my head it was about 1200
