All that knowledge got lost yeah absolutely especially like i think we knew a lot up to like 150 years ago when all this industrial food was happening. It really just takes like a generation or two for some of that knowledge to get lost because no one wants to do it anymore as it's quote unquote hard right and like difficult umYeah and i don't i've been trying to pursue that more and more lately  and uh really really try and learn those lost ways especially food preservation, he says.
