The Place of Non-Nutritive Sweeteners in Healthy Eating
Katherine Appleton is a professor of psychology at the Bournemouth University and has done some amazing research about non-nutritive sweeteners, as well as different aspects of eating behaviors. Hope I'm going to ask you to help us start by explaining where this fits into our strategy for food choices to combat obesity. The American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association have issued scientific statements saying that diets high in added sugars are linked to risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
