When you grow up learning survival skills as a child, you have to learn how to adapt and become a cumulion. You're always having to take the temperature of the room. When your dad comes through the door, is he drunk? Is he sober? Is he grumpy? Is he happy? So then when you you learn that growing up, that's your normal.
