The Frankfurt School and the American Jewish Council

The Frankfurt School is a collection of thinkers who are trained in different disciplines, philosophy, psychoanalysis, sociology. They come together to try to bring those critical paradigms together into a kind of fusion that's capable of cognizing the pathologies of modern life. During World War II, they're heavily engaged in U.S. propaganda research that has very direct lines of connection to the later history of multimedia and Silicon Valley.
