The Importance of Speaking in Tongues
The reason I speak in tongues is because I don't always have words to pray. The scriptures flat out say that the one who speaks in tongues edifies himself. We're told to edify ourselves in the most holy faith praying in the spirit, which is Jude 20. It's never like I have to prophesy and it's really neverlike I have to speak in tongues. However, I'm thinking of a few radical spiritual experiences that would take a long time to tell and are probably too personal for video camera. But some really radical spiritual experiences where the spirit came on me and I exploded like Mount Vesuvius in tongues on a few occasions for 45 minutes straight and longer.
