Deuteronomy 24: If she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her. Then you can only divorce for sexual offense, perhaps. So very loose doctrine of divorce. That's what they're fishing for when they come and ask Jesus is lawful to divorce your wife on forever cause or any cause. He makes an and run around it and goes back to the original divine intent for marriage. Not the stopgap measure or the provision.
