The Protests in Iran
After Iranian authorities claimed that Masa Amini died of natural causes, people across the country took to the streets in protest. Women began removing or burning their headscarfs in solidarity and chanting, women, life, freedom and death to the dictator. The protesters represent an existential threat to the Islamic Theocracy which has ruled Iran since 1979. And the long arm of Iran's intelligence operation has reached deep into the UK, desperate to silence broadcasts from British soil.
