Skepticism mainly as a thought experiment to attempt to clarify our understanding about epistemology. Moore is on the side of just trying to defend your pre-fills have glintuations about these things. He wants to cast doubt on the characteristics of doubting in the past. The idea is that even if we doubt everything, we get certainty back.
