Hollywood babylon is a book published by kenneth anger, a child actor turned experimental film maker. Anger spent the 19 forties and 19 fifties drifting between various inner circles and marginalized sub groups in and around hollywood. He came to hear versions of scandalous stories that ran counter to or went further than the accepted narratives of these events. The book was initially u shed in france in 19 59, but it was not widely commercially available in the us until 19 75.
