Psychedelic Renaissance - What's It All About?
I think that there are some fundamental issues with the way in which the Western world thinks. Indigenous peoples, we don't call our plant medicine psychedelics and we really see our plant medicines as relatives part of a harmonious cycle. The body can't be compartmentalized based upon an illness or a sickness. It makes sense to really consider how each bodily system affects one another. We center what's called the medicine wheel, which teaches us that we have four aspects of ourselves, the physical, the mental, the emotional and the spiritual. Each has to be balanced equally for us to remain healthy and strong and resilient individuals.
