The Real McCoy

McCoy was sentenced to nine months in prison for run-running. The warden let him leave the prison every day as long as he was back by 9 p.m. In 1933, McCoy began selling his own personal brand of whiskey called the real McCoy. He passed away at the age of 71 from a heart attack and complications of tomein poisoning.
