The Green Party's Policy on Illegal Migration
I want people to stop making dangerous crossings in small boats. But the way to stop that isn't to threaten them, it's to provide safe and legal routes for people to claim asylum. Greens would scrap Indefinite detention of migrants - which is completely unjust. Of course, we'd scrap the Rwanda scheme. I do feel that a lot of people might not know the green party's policies outside of the environment. There's a lot of social justice stuff, a lot of radical stuff.
