The Dilemma of Trend Following
Traders can't help trying to improve. They become impatient or even bored with systems. Too many like to make short-term emotional fixes that have zero to do with making a profit. You cannot foresee how a changing market will look until change is taken place, and then it's too late. Wall Street analysts are theory-free investors. But the numbers they react to are measures of past performance, not future performance. That's why they go in big herds.
