The Difference Between Static Control and Dynamic Control in Nogi

A lot of D-based clothes guard control, I think you would call more static. You can get your grip to you tie the person down and they just can't move. But in Nogi, it's just not feasible that you're really going to be able to hold the person with broken posture in your guard for 10 minutes,. If you have to, right? You've got to be reactive to them. And then something I think that gives me the strength is being able to kind of like use that static control the second I get into any kind of like advantageous position.
