I Don't Know What Heart Is

I always was very sensitive and empathetic to other people. I mean, even my husband didn't get my full heart or who I was for a really long time. So there's all those kind of empathetic things that you do with friends and loved ones. They also cost me in relationship as far as having the deep relationships that I really, really wanted. People who would see me, who would hear me,. who would know me for who I was and stay in the mess with me. And it's just, it's astonishing. That a moment of such immense heartache can result in lifelong commitments, decades long commitments.
