The Importance of Professional Satisfaction and ID
One area where I actually defend the clinician advice service has been, at least at our institution, is the outpatient e-consult model. We do get paid a nominal amount for answering them but the amount hasn't been increased in like 15 years and inflation certainly hasn't stopped. If you were to be asked by a fellow what the keys are to having professional satisfaction and ID, what would you say?
