Intentional Weight Loss and Weight Gain
Finnish study looked at 20,000 twin pairs born in Finland prior to 1958. They calculated BMI from self reported height and weight in 1975 survey data. The two categories that showed higher mortality risk were the intentional weight loss, intention to lose weight and weight loss. And then you had the exact same in terms of weight loss, weight stability or weight gain for people that did not intend to lose weight.
