Hip Hop and Los Adianos

In Cuba, Los Adianos embodied youth culture in a way that was so refreshing to Cubans. The idea of the artist as a truth teller or someone who sparks political upheaval is pretty common in the United States. We don't want artists to be vaguely leading the politics. Even if an artist has good politics, we need artists to be led by labor leaders and educators creating political change.
