The Importance of Humour in Romance
This is actually an archetypal rom-com, I mean you've got these two apparently very different, very incompatible people. They never meet this couple, or at least they do eventually, but for a long time they don't. The trigger for the plot is the price of accommodation in London which is one thing, and then Leon the palliative care nurse we discover has a brother who's in prison. Then most serious is there is the ex-lover, there is Justin with the relationship there, which is all quite dark actually. It really grounded the story as well to have something quite as serious I guess, in something that was also light and funny and lovely.
