There are situations where it makes sense to give more than 20 mcs per hour of potassium. You probably almost never want a bowlas pota m because that's going to sky rot your potassium too high. In my anecdotal, limited experience, i've come to the philosophy that combining oral and ivy, potassium in it, like a critically old patient with absorption, is the way to go.
