There's a number of proposals to try to cool the run up in prices. Liberal party suggesting banning blind bidding, conservatives proposing 20% buyers tax on foreign investors. Economists are generally agreed that there's not enough houses being built in canada. The liberals are promising to encourage the construction of one four million homes over the next four years and the conservatives are promising one million homes over three years.
