The Small Water Cycle

Water on Earth is in this non-equilibrium state. It's always constantly going up into the air where it forms rain and then it comes back down, which it doesn't do on other planets. The big one is basically what we learn in school: It rains somehow. But water flows down either through a river system or elsewhere, gets into the ocean, gets up again and repeats. That's the big one. There's a much more important, smaller one actually that we don't really talk about or at least not outside the water cycle geeks, let's say, or the water cycle bubble.
