What Are the Different Kinds of Prayer?

There's a lot of puzzles that that prayer, that philosophers have at least puzzled about when it comes to prayer. So there are different kinds prayer, and some of them involve communication with god, and maybe some of them don't. When i think about petitionary prayer, i think the idea is that you're petitioning god for something,. asking god to do something for you, or for somebody else, or for the world, or maybe all those things. But other kind of prayers don't involve requests at all.
