Most OLTP systems want the same defaults. There are only a few corner cases here and there that want to play. But barring those corner cases, most people are very happy with just the default. If a query takes longer than 30 seconds, it's probably not worth it for OLTP. It's false that we test provides, which is within 30 seconds. That's a very important wisdom for all software engineers.
